What is Glutathione?

Glutathione is found in your own body.  It is a very simple molecule in every cell composed of three simple building blocks of protein or amino acids namely, cysteine, glyceine and glutamine.

It provides antioxidant activity by regulating the reduction of cysteine thiol side chains as they adhere to proteins.  This action prevents cellular damage caused by free radicals and oxidative stress.  Poor diet, pollution, toxins, medications, stress, trauma, aging, infections and radiation contribute to cell disintegration.  Glutathione acts as a guardian against these free radicals that enter our body.  Without this very important molecule, your body would not be able to prevent diseases.

Glutathione deficiency has been found in nearly all very ill patients--People with heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, chronic infections, autoimmune disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, asthma, kidney problems, liver diease etc,

Diseases start on the cellular level.  Healthy cells will not damage tissues which in turn will not affect our organs thereby keeping us healthy and young.  The most important thing is to keep our glutathione levels high to keep cells healthy.  Healthy cells helps our immune system  do its job in fighting infections.  It controls inflammation and prevents cancer.

Benefits of Glutathione:

1.  Slows down the aging process.  Glutathione prevents oxidation damage in cells which is now recognized as being the key feature of many ailments of old age.

2.  Aids our immune system.  Studies show that it can help in the treatment of AIDS.

3.  It is an integral part of our detoxification system.  Glutathione carries toxins into the bile and stool and finally out of our bodies.

4.  Helps us reach peak mental and physical function.  High glutathione levels prevent muscle damage.  It helps in muscle development, endurance and makes our metabolism run well.

How do you increase glutathione levels?

Increasing  glutathione levels  is a complicated process.  Glutathione can be taken intravenously or taken orally as supplements but this is generally not effective. Studies have found that glutathione does not survive the digestive process. Furthermore, supplementing with oral glutathione can result in a yeast outbreak and gut imbalance. Injections are only minimally useful, since glutathione cannot enter into the cells themselves.  The size of the molecule is too big for the cells to absorb. It must be manufactured inside the cells and this happens only when the proper ingredients in a supplement work and enter the cell to make it manufacture its own glutathione and this is exactly what MaxGXL does to our body.

Glutathione is the master detoxifier and the body's main anti-oxidant.  It should be our goal to increase this natural and critical molecule in our body.
